AYSO Area C Fallfest Tournament 2019

The 11th Annual Area C Core Team Fallfest Tournament will be held on October 12th - 13th, 2019 at Lightfoot Fields (Port Huron, MI).  The tournament is open to any AYSO Area C 10U B&G, 12U B&G, 14U B&G or 19U G  core team (60% of original house team).


Dear Coach,

This is your invitation to take part in the 11th Annual Area C Core Team Fallfest Tournament.  The tournament will be held on October 12th and 13th.  Games will be played in Port Huron, Mi.  The tournament is open to any A.Y.S.O. Area C core team (60% of original house team).  If two teams, from the same region and division, have less than 60% participation from their house team, then those two teams may combine to form 1 team.  All coaches must be CERTIFIED for the age level they are coaching.  Regional Commissioners will verify that coaches are certified and the original house team roster and handwritten tournament roster are accurate by signing each form. A signed copy of the eAYSO or Blue Sombrero certification must be sent with application. A wallet size picture of the coach and assistant coach must be sent in with application. *PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS FOR THE TOURNAMENT*

The tournament will consist of the following age divisions:
11 V 11:   BOYS 14U - GIRLS 14U - GIRLS 19U
9 V 9:   BOYS 12U - GIRLS 12U
7 V 7:  BOYS 10U - GIRLS 10U

*Teams will be allowed to play “up” if there are not enough teams in their division

Registration Deadline:  Applications must be postmarked by September 23, 2019.

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE:  (includes t-shirts for all players and only the head coach)
     11 V 11  $ 270.00  

        9V9 $ 235.00                **Checks should be made payable to AYSO AREA C

       7 V 7 $ 200.00   


Original Blue Sombrero roster along with Blue Sombrero rosters from all teams where players were added and hand-printed Tournament Roster Must Be Submitted No Later Than September 23, 2019 with application and fee.  REMEMBER!!! All submitted rosters MUST have an original Regional Commissioner Signature.  

• All teams will play a minimum of three (3) games.  
• All Co-Ed teams play in the boys division.
• The Fallfest is designed for AYSO Core Teams (60% of original house team). All players on current roster must be asked to participate. Additional players may be added to make a full team from your region.  If there are two teams that cannot get 60% participation, then those two teams may merge together to form 1 team.  
• The coach will have in his/her possession a current copy of the player’s original AYSO registration forms with current picture during the tournament.
• Coach / Assistant Coach will send a current picture of themselves with application for an ID badge that will be created for them.
• Awards will be awarded to First, Second, Third and Fourth place teams.

You are officially ready to send in your application and team rosters if you have fulfilled all of the requirements.  Please double check that you are sending the right information and items.

What is to be sent with the application?

 Completed application with number of t-shirts and sizes needed.  Remember # of t-shirts must equal # of players on roster plus one coach.
 Please be sure to include an email address on application (if the coach does not have an email address – please provide us with an email address of an assistant or team-parent)
 Passport size picture of coach (label pictures so we know who is who)
 Passport size picture of assistant coach (if listed on application) - Assistant coach is not required for tournament but if there is an assistant they must be certified and a picture must be provided.
 Copy of certification (signed by commissioner) printed from eAYSO or Blue Sombrero
 Blue Sombrero roster and all other blue-sombrero rosters from all teams in which players were added must be signed by RC  
 Coach Completed Hand-written Tournament Roster signed by RC.
 Check payable to Area 8C

During Tournament Weekend:

 Each coach must supply a game ball
 Bring a team – Bring a Ref or four – wouldn’t that be awesome!  Please do your best to help promote referees to ref some games at the tournament.
 Game cards with full names and number (filled out in numerical order)-  tournament team number from schedule is important
 Each player must have a registration form and current photo attached at check-in and during each game.
 Each team must have an alternate colored jersey – may be a t-shirt without numbers.
