Team formation is limited to the number of Coaching Volunteers we have.
 

Teams are formed solely by computer selection. Each child in Region 161 has a 'rating'. Returning players are given a 'rating' by their previous coach at the end of the last season. Every new player has a rating of zero, unless they have more than 1 year of previous soccer playing experience. The computer views the 'rating' of each child in each division and forms teams (based on those ratings) so that each team has the same 'average' rating. Coaches do not see their team until after all teams are set.
 

U8 Division is formed according to age and geographic location. U19, U16, U14, U12 & U10.  Divisions are formed according to age and skill.
 

Requests for "same team" for non-siblings will be given consideration, but we may not be able to honor such requests.
 

Requests to be on a specific coach's team will not be honored, unless you are going to be the assistant coach of that team. Only one assistant coach may be assigned per team.
 

At registration you may request that your child not be placed on a certain coach's team. Such a request will be honored.
