AYSO InformationInjury; Soccer Accident InsuranceWhen a registered participant is injured while taking part in an AYSO sanctioned event, Soccer Accident Insurance (SAI) reimburses medical expenses not covered by another provider. The first $100 out-of-pocket charges incurred for each injury will not be reimbursed. Details of the plan are covered in the brochure you should receive during the Parents Information Meeting. The Coach must be notified of injuries occurring during practice or scheduled games. If an injury appears serious enough to require a doctor, medical care should be sought immediately. Players must have a doctor's release to resume play. Any injury must be reported by the Coach to the Safety Director within 24 hours of occurrence.
